After more than ten years in senior IT roles, Susan has gone on to lead a wide variety of projects and programs, working closely with vendors, government, economic development agencies, iwi, and community groups to deliver real outcomes. When not working as the ManawaTech EO, she is excited to bring this blend of experience to ManawaTech.

Heather is a senior leader in one of the regions most well-known IT firms. She wears many hats including being a virtual CIO. Heather is passionate about getting more young women into Tech.

Clare is the head of operations and delivery at a well-known software development consultancy. Clare brings a wealth of practical knowledge to the board.

Ara McLaughlin

Ara has close to 20 years of experience in technology-enabled transformation, working predominantly as an independent consultant and contractor across public, private, and not-for-profit sectors.

Shumin Zhou is an experienced IT leader with a strong background in systems reliability, cloud transformation, and digital innovation. As a senior Manager at Farmers Mutual Group (FMG), Shumin leads a multi-disciplinary team delivering award-winning outcomes.

Shayne

Shayne is the owner and Principal Consultant at Cloud People Ltd and holds an MBA specialising in strategic HR, alongside advanced certifications in Project Management and ITIL. He is passionate about strengthening local capability and creating sustainable opportunities for talent within the community.

Paula Richardson

Paula is the academic portfolio manager at UCOL. Paula, and UCOL, have been a long-term supporter of ManawaTech and what we are both trying to achieve in the region. Paula holds the second of the two Ecosystem partner seats.
