ManawaTech is governed by a board who are elected at the AGM each year. ManawaTech also employ one staff member part-time to be the person on the ground getting stuff done. Meet the team.
Benji Prichard
Benji is the part-time Executive Officer of ManawaTech. Benji is the go-to person for all things ManawaTech. When Benji is not working for ManawaTech he is a startup advisor for the Factory.
Michael Davis
Michael is one of the co-chairs of ManawaTech. Having previously been CTO of a local company he has since taken a step sideways and has fulfilled his dream of launching a game.
Aaron Fulton
Aaron is one of the foundation members of ManawaTech. He has been secretary since its inception and has ensured that the organisation runs smoothly.
Richard Fernando
Richard runs a successful IT consultancy. Richard is also one of the foundation members of ManawaTech and is currently the Treasurer.
Heather Todd
Heather is a senior leader in one of the regions most well-known IT firms. She wears many hats including being a virtual CIO. Heather is passionate about getting more young women into Tech.
Clare Thomas
Clare is the head of operations and delivery at a well-known software development consultancy. Clare brings a wealth of practical knowledge to the board.
Ryan Eames
Ryan holds one of the ecosystem partner seats. Ryan is the head of Digital Solutions at the Palmerston North City Council. Ryan is passionate about seeing the region flourish.
Paula Richardson
Paula is the academic portfolio manager at UCOL. Paula, and UCOL, have been a long-term supporter of ManawaTech and what we are both trying to achieve in the region. Paula holds the second of the two Ecosystem partner seats.
